Predictions for the United States of America in 2006
- America's tough stance against terrorism continues. However it is likely to draw severe negative attention concerning humanitarian issues more flak follows regarding inhuman treatment of Iraqi POW's.

- Disasters from fire and water are indicated Explosions, heat waves, hurricanes, stormy seas are likely to cause much damage. Weather pattern shows great fluctuations. March, May, August and November are the trouble creating months.

- There are several incidents of violence (though the scale may be limited)- the victims could be students and foreign ambassadors.

- Disasters/ problems related to ships/ naval installations/ maritime services are indicated.

- Business scandals are unearthed causing quite a bit of discomfort to Bush administration. President Bush's position however, stays strong.

- Condoleeza Rice acquires more prominence on world stage.

- There is only marginal improvement in the economy, but this dispels doubts about any downward trends.

Predictions for India in 2006
- There will be enough and more reasons coming to the fore calling for dissolution of the UPA government. However this process will take painfully long to come through. This government is unlikely to be able to complete its term. Chances of General Elections in 2006 are imminent. June-August are going to be toughest months for the Government.

- BJP is likely to be in for tougher times, but it is quite possible that it proves its detractors wrong and gains ground. Among the senior leaders, MM Joshi could be having a glorious year ahead. Some of the prominent leaders may be involved in scandals.

- Sharad Pawar could move on to occupy some very important position in the government. If General Elections are held, Mr. Pawar would emerge as Mr. Power and will play a key role.

- Weather continues to play quite unpredictable. There are indications of disasters stemming from floods, earthquakes and sea storms. Southern India states would be the worst hit. January, April, August and November will be the worst months.

- The Economy continues to grow. Progressive economic policies lead to a feel good factor in the Stock Market. Export Import trade continues to grow. Crisis months for the economy are April end, May and June.

- India faces challenges of violence, explosions, public vehicular accidents and Earthquakes from January end to Mid May. Violence and Terrorist activity will cause much damage. South India will have to face danger from terrorism in January, Feb, August and November. Cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore and Mysore are going to be the likely targets.

- Jupiter in Libra and Saturn in Cancer will ensure that the media plays a very active role and exposes many scams and scandals.

- India will be recognized as a World Power.

- Pakistan is likely to engage with India in an armed struggle.
